pitched-down vinyl
here are two favorites from this list of great pitched-down songs:
factory floor and peter gordon - "c-side"
originally 45rpm, now 33rpm
gary low "i want you (instrumental)"
originally 45rpm, now 33-8rpm - and sampled by washed out!

the jewels - hearts of stone (1954)
meghan trainor is out with another weak doo-wop pastiche... so why not listen to some of the actual good stuff?
i love the "no no no no" refrain in this one!
the five keys - "close your eyes" (1955)
this one's a gem too... love that drama of "take a breath!"
